Tractor Daily Maintenance Cannot Be Neglected

Everyone can list out the various components of a tractor, but do you know which ones require key maintenance? For tractors, the clutch, steering gear, and various electrical components are important components. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain these components in good condition.

(1) Clutch maintenance

Firstly, pay attention to the method during use, cut off the power quickly, and press the clutch pedal all at once; The engagement power should be gentle and not delayed. Releasing and lifting the clutch pedal is usually a "fast slow fast" lifting process.

During the installation of the clutch assembly, a locator should be installed to adjust the nut through the release lever, and the free stroke of the pedal and the separation clearance of the three release levers should be checked regularly. When the separation lever or fork is severely worn, a new part should be replaced. Regularly inspect the lubrication of the bearings and inject butter if necessary. The separation bearing should be removed and cleaned after the tractor has been working for 500 hours. After cleaning, it should be placed in a container containing butter and heated. Let the butter seep in, take it out and put it on after it solidifies. The temperature should not be too high during heating.

(2) Maintenance of diesel filters

The impurities inside the filter will continue to increase with prolonged use, and the filtering ability will decrease. The aging and damage of other parts such as gaskets can cause "short circuits", that is, diesel enters the oil pump directly without filtration. Therefore, maintenance should be carried out, and the following points should be noted:

(1) The cross-section and center of the filter element should be well sealed.

(2) When maintaining paper filter cartridges, you can soak them in diesel for a period of time, then brush them with a soft brush, or blow air into the filter cartridge from the inside out to remove dirt.

(3) After disassembling and assembling the filter, release all the air in between.

(3) Maintenance of hydraulic system

Regularly check the height of the hydraulic oil level. If it is insufficient, hydraulic oil should be added or replaced, and it must be kept clean.

When cleaning the internal parts of the hydraulic system, it is prohibited to use cotton thread to prevent oil passage blockage or leakage caused by sealing.

Rubber sealing rings should not be washed with gasoline to prevent aging and deterioration. When assembling sealing rings, a small amount of engine oil or soapy water should be applied to prevent cutting and tearing.

(4) Inspection and maintenance of hydraulic steering system oil tank

The fuel tank is located on the right side of the rear body of the hood. Open the fuel tank cover and observe whether there are oil marks on the dipstick. If there are no oil marks, it indicates that the oil level in the steering tank is insufficient. The cause of the oil leakage should be checked and found. Then, remove the fuel tank and add oil to the middle marking of the dipstick before reinstalling it in its original position. During the inspection, the system checks that there is no oil leakage in the hydraulic steering cylinder, oil pipe, and joints, otherwise it is easy to cause poor steering. The filter screen in the oil pipe should be cleaned or replaced regularly.

When checking the oil level, it is necessary to also check whether the ventilation valve in the center position above the fuel tank cover is flexible in lifting and lowering. If there is oil contamination affecting the lifting and lowering, it should be cleaned thoroughly.

(5) Maintenance and prevention of fuel injectors.

The fuel injector is one of the important components of the fuel system in diesel engines. Its function is to spray and atomize high-pressure fuel; Secondly, according to the form of the combustion chamber, a certain injection angle and penetration capacity of the spray beam are formed, and a high-quality combustible mixture is formed with the fresh air in the combustion chamber; The third is that fuel injection must also comply with certain fuel supply rules, and the start time of fuel supply must be correct, the fuel should be stopped decisively, and there should be no dripping phenomenon.

The common manifestation of fuel injector malfunction is engine fatigue; Black smoke emitted from the exhaust pipe; The oil level in the oil pan rises. This is mostly because the fuel injection pump is stuck. Unclean diesel and poor filtering effect of the fuel supply system can cause the needle valve to get stuck, so it is important to pay attention to whether the diesel is clean and free of foreign objects. When the elasticity of the fuel injector spring decreases, it will cause a decrease in fuel injection pressure and poor fuel injection. Therefore, it is important to prevent clogging of the fuel injector due to adhesive buildup.
