Survey by Agricultural Machinery Cooperative: The proportion of agricultural machinery maintenance in the fourth year of China has exceeded 50%, and the satisfaction with reliability is not high

From the public announcement data of agricultural machinery purchase subsidies, the sales progress of self-propelled agricultural machinery in 2023 is slow, far lower than the performance of the same period in previous years. The feedback from major production enterprises in the industry was also affected by the first year of upgrading of agricultural machinery to the fourth national standard, and this year the self powered agricultural machinery market is particularly cold. In order to understand the actual usage of the fourth agricultural machinery in China, Agricultural Machinery 360 Network launched a questionnaire survey with the Agricultural Machinery Cooperative. In this survey, a total of 114 agricultural machinery cooperatives participated.

According to the survey results, the overall feeling is that there is a strong wait-and-see attitude before purchasing, and I am not sure about the quality and after-sales service of Guosi Machinery; After purchase, there are many malfunctions, a high proportion of repairs, and new requirements such as regeneration operation and adding urea, resulting in high usage costs.

01 Survey on Quality Satisfaction of Agricultural Machinery in China

From this survey, it can be seen that the satisfaction of agricultural machinery cooperatives with the quality of national fourth agricultural machinery is not high. Among the 114 cooperatives participating in the survey, 53 purchased National Fourth Agricultural Machinery. Among these 53 cooperatives, only 30.18% of them clearly acknowledge the quality of National Fourth Agricultural Machinery, while 37.74% express dissatisfaction. Among them, there are 14 cooperatives that are very dissatisfied with the quality of Guosi agricultural machinery, accounting for 26.42%, which is equivalent to 1 out of every 4 cooperatives that purchase Guosi agricultural machinery being very dissatisfied with the quality of Guosi agricultural machinery. In addition, 32.08% of cooperatives feel that the quality of Guosi agricultural machinery is average.

02 National Fourth Agricultural Machinery Reliability Survey

The maintenance proportion of national fourth agricultural machinery has exceeded 50%, and the reliability satisfaction is not high. Among the 53 surveyed cooperatives that purchased Guosi Agricultural Machinery, only 5 believed that the reliability of Guosi Agricultural Machinery had improved, accounting for 9.43%. 23 cooperatives believe that the reliability of Guosi agricultural machinery has decreased, accounting for as much as 43.4%. In addition, 47.17% of the surveyed cooperatives believe that there is not much difference in the reliability between the National Fourth Agricultural Machinery and the National Third Agricultural Machinery. Among the 53 surveyed cooperatives that purchased Guosi agricultural machinery, 30 said that Guosi agricultural machinery had been repaired, accounting for 56.6%. The sales starting point of Guosi Agricultural Machinery is December 1, 2022, which is just half a year from the investigation time. Many machines have a relatively short operating time, but the maintenance proportion has exceeded 50%.

30 surveyed cooperatives reported that the National Fourth Agricultural Machinery has been repaired. The main fault repair area is the engine, with 20 people indicating that they have repaired the engine, accounting for 66.67%. Next are clutch discs, hydraulic systems, and driving devices, all accounting for 13.33%. Other areas of failure include bearings, transmissions, circuits, and aftertreatment regeneration systems.

Investigation on the Aftersales Service of Agricultural Machinery in Country 03

The timeliness and quality of after-sales service for Guosi agricultural machinery need to be improved. The survey results show that users' satisfaction with the timeliness of after-sales service for National Fourth Agricultural Machinery is not high. Out of the 30 surveyed cooperatives that have experienced the maintenance of agricultural machinery in the fourth year of China, only 1 cooperative stated that their after-sales service was very timely, accounting for only 3.33%. Eight cooperatives reported being relatively timely, accounting for 26.67%. There are four cooperatives each that believe that they are 'very untimely' and 'relatively untimely', accounting for 13.33% of the total. Most cooperatives believe that the timeliness of after-sales service is "average", accounting for 43.33%.

The after-sales service quality satisfaction of Guosi Agricultural Machinery is also not high. Out of the 30 surveyed cooperatives that have experienced the maintenance of National Fourth Agricultural Machinery, only 2 cooperatives are very satisfied with the quality of after-sales service, accounting for only 6.67%. Five cooperatives expressed satisfaction, accounting for 16.67%. There are 6 companies that are very dissatisfied with the quality of after-sales service, accounting for 20%; There is one cooperative that is relatively dissatisfied with the quality of after-sales service, accounting for 3.33%. Most cooperatives believe that the quality of after-sales service is "average", accounting for 53.33%.

Investigation on the Opinions and Suggestions of 04 Cooperative on National Fourth Agricultural Machinery

Regarding the fourth national agricultural machinery, the opinions and suggestions put forward by the surveyed cooperative mainly include the following five aspects.

1. Reduce costs: We hope that manufacturers can simplify the fourth round, reduce the cost of purchasing machines in the fourth round, and reduce the maintenance, repair, and usage costs for users. The agricultural machinery working in the field should be simpler. It has a complex structure, poor practicality, high failure rate, and is difficult to maintain. We hope to simplify the fourth national standard, as high consumables are too complex and costly. The electronic system is more complex, and the maintenance of the third national vehicle is more convenient. Regeneration also increases the burden on farmers' machinery.

2. After sales service needs to be guaranteed: we hope that the manufacturer of Guosi Machinery can extend the warranty period. We hope that the warranty period can be extended by the manufacturer of Guosi Machinery, and we also hope that the subsidy ratio can be increased.

3. Improving the quality of agricultural machinery: The quality of agricultural machinery is not hard, and I hope it can be as "solid" as the second national machinery. Suggest improving the quality of the engine and gearbox, improving the design of the fuel tank, and reducing the probability of stalling when climbing or going downhill. Agricultural machinery is still good and durable in the second tier, saving costs. "" Electric injection is not effective, "" The fourth tier diesel engine accelerates slowly, "" It is too fuel-efficient and has many small problems, which is not suitable for the general public.

4. Increase subsidies: The prices of State IV agricultural machinery have increased, and we hope to increase the subsidy standards for State IV agricultural machinery. Purchasing National Fourth Agricultural Machinery is too expensive, is it possible to increase subsidies? "" Purchasing National Fourth Agricultural Machinery should receive additional subsidies.

5. Dust reduction: Some users hope to improve agricultural machinery products and reduce dust during operation.
