16 companies have entered the field of power shift tractors

Power shifting tractors can shift gears without cutting off power during operation. At present, the power shift tractors recognized by the industry are mainly divided into four types from low to high levels: Hi-Lo2 speed power shift; Partial power shifting, at least one of the main and auxiliary transmissions is a partial power shift, regional power shift, or semi power shift, including a 3-speed/4-speed/5-speed/6-speed shift. The larger the data, the more complex the technical difficulty, and the higher the cost; Full power shifting, both the main and auxiliary transmissions are powered shifting; Continuously variable transmission (CVT) is a power shift with infinite gears and no limit on gear speed. It can find the best operating point in a liquid state and currently has the highest operating efficiency.

16 companies have entered the power shift tractor race track

From 2020 to 2022, a total of 7526 types of power shift tractors were subsidized and sold, with a total of 16 companies having sales records. Among them, 5 are foreign brands, including John Deere, Kaisnew Holland, AGCO, Keleso and Deutz AG Farr; There are also 11 local enterprises, including China Yituo, Weichai Lovol, Zoomlion Heavy Machinery, Shandong Wuzheng, Changzhou Dongfeng, Jiangsu Jinshi, Shandong Yijia Agricultural Machinery Equipment, Weifang Taihong, Weifang Huaxia, Xuzhou Kaier, and Shandong Weifang Luzhong. However, among local enterprises, only China YTO and Weichai Lovol have accumulated sales of over 100 units, while the other 9 enterprises have accumulated sales of less than 100 units of power shift tractors. In addition, 6 enterprises have accumulated sales of less than 10 units. Although these enterprises have obtained admission tickets to the power shift competition, they have not yet entered the mass production stage.

Although there are only 16 manufacturers that have truly entered the power shift tractor race, there are actually more companies ready to participate. There are 23 enterprises that have successively obtained the identification and promotion certificate of power shift tractors. In addition to the 16 enterprises mentioned above, there are also Mount Taishan Guotai, Luoyang Lutong, Luoyang Ruide, Hebei Kate, Shandong Shuangli, Jingshan Sanlei and Weifang Aolida Machinery.

Local enterprises have entered the field of continuously variable transmission tractors, and breakthroughs are needed in the field of full power shifting

Continuously variable speed tractors: From 2020 to 2022, a total of 347 continuously variable speed tractors were subsidized and sold. There are only 5 companies with sales records, including Kesner Netherlands, AGCO, Weichai Lovol, Changzhou Dongfeng, and Shandong Weifang Luzhong. According to the latest sales data in 2023, John Deere's CVT tractors also have subsidy sales data. At present, the continuously variable transmission tractor with the highest subsidy sales is the PUMA2254 high-power tractor produced by Kesner Netherlands, followed by the MF3404 tractor produced by AGCO.

Full power shift tractors: 1824 full power shift tractors have been subsidized and consumed in total, which are from four manufacturers, namely Kesnew Holland, John Deere, Deutz AG Fall and Keleshui. At present, there is no local enterprise that has achieved a breakthrough in zero subsidy sales in the field of fully powered shift tractors. From the release of the appraisal and promotion certificate, it can be seen that currently one local enterprise has obtained the appraisal and promotion certificate for all power shift tractors, namely Jingshan Sanlei, and two Zhongtuo models of the Golden Prince series have obtained the appraisal and promotion certificate for all power shift tractors. From the current subsidized sales of fully powered shift tractors, Kesnel Netherlands is far ahead. The highest selling full power shift tractor is PUMA2304 produced by Kesner Netherlands, accounting for 40% of the cumulative sales of full power shift tractors in the past three years; Next is the T2304 model produced by Kesner Netherlands.

Partial power shift tractors: From the sales of various types of power shift tractors, some power shift types have the highest subsidy sales, with a cumulative subsidy sales of 3767 units in the past three years, accounting for 48% of the total power shift tractor sales. At present, there are 10 power shift tractor manufacturers with subsidized sales, with five foreign and five domestic enterprises each. However, the total sales of foreign brands account for up to 95%. The five local enterprises are China Yituo, Shandong Wuzheng, Zoomlion Heavy Machinery, Weichai Lovol, and Xuzhou Kaier. From the perspective of identification and promotion, four other enterprises have also successively obtained the identification and promotion certificates of some power shift tractors, including Mount Taishan Guotai, Luoyang Lutong, Weifang Taihong and Weifang Aolida. At present, the JD2104 produced by John Deere has the highest sales volume of some power shift tractors. In the past three years, the cumulative sales volume of subsidies has been 1200, accounting for almost one third of the cumulative sales volume of some power shift tractors.

Hi Lo power shift tractors: Hi Lo power shift tractors have been subsidized and sold for a total of 1858 units in the past three years, accounting for 24% of all power shift tractor sales. At present, there are 9 Hi-Lo power shift tractor manufacturers with subsidized sales, 1 foreign enterprise, and 8 local enterprises, but foreign brands account for 52% of sales. These 9 manufacturers are John Deere, YTO, Weichai Lovol, Zoomlion, Jiangsu Jinshiji, Changzhou Dongfeng, Shandong Yijia Agricultural Machinery Equipment, Weifang Taihong and Weifang Huaxia. From the perspective of appraisal and promotion, three other companies have also obtained appraisal and promotion certificates for Hi Lo power shift tractors, including Shandong Shuangli, Hebei Kaite, and Luoyang Ruide. At present, the Hi Lo power shift tractor with the highest sales volume is the 6E-1404-PL tractor produced by John Deere. In the past three years, more than 400 sets of Hi Lo power shift tractors have been sold, accounting for 22% of the cumulative sales volume of Hi Lo power shift tractors.
